Work does not need to be printed, but I understand families are sharing computers. If you are sharing and don't have a printer, try writing down the problems/questions on notebook paper to work out later when someone else is using the computer. Get assignments done when you can. I understand that not everyone can hop on a computer whenever they need to, so I'm not checking assignments everyday. I look occasionally to see who has been working, but I'm not giving grades right now. My focus is to give you something to work on so we don't lose learning time and can jump right back into it when we return to school! I'd rather not have to review everything when we return, which is why I want everyone to stay fresh! Let me know if you have any questions! I hope to see many of you during our Zoom call tomorrow! 9AM!! |
Good morning!
I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy. Here are some resources I have found and want to pass along.
Virtual Fieldtrips
This is a great opportunity to virtually explore the world around us while staying safe at home. 😊

I Survived Read Aloud
The author of the I Survived series, Lauren Tarshis, reads her book about the Titanic. If your child has this book at home, have them follow along as she’s reading it. She has posted through chapter 6, and it’s updated daily.

Attached below is a Choice Board Cobb County has made for 4th Grade students. Please feel free to use this at home if you wish. It will not be for a grade, but you’re welcome to use this as a supplement! The kids should be familiar with this-we do choice boards in class all the time. It’s a great differentiation tool. 😊
If you’re looking for some fun exercise opportunities, ask your child to teach you Four Square. All you need is a ball, chalk and a place to play outside. Take advantage of this beautiful weather!
Please let your kiddos know how much I miss them. They are welcome to email me, send me pics of what they’re up to, etc. 😊
